2022 was a full year! I bet it was for you, too. Probably much like you, I like to take stock of the year that passed and set a vision for the year to come. So let's do this!
Looking back:
I started with an impromptu trip down to Port Aransas, TX to see some family and have a quick trip to the beach.
I overcame a knee issue (cartilage is good, say it with me now)
Led a group trip to Europe with sixteen of our friends and family and MIND BLOWN.
Got to visit old friends in Germany that I haven't seen in decades. It was like zero time had passed.
Took a group of youth to Arizona to a camp where there were zip lines, obstacle courses, swimming, dunk tank ( I got dunked lol) and so much more.
Led outdoor mystery camp with my partner in crime for about 100 teen girls. Epic.
Kayaked rapids for the first time! That was insanely fun! And harder than I thought it would be lol.
Mountain biked a little bit, but see the above knee issue. Definitely working on getting my strength back.
Released a novel! If you haven't read it, well hey... there's a New Year's goal for you right there. ;p
Went to Vegas with my daughter for a conference and book signing. Now she's writing a novel! Proud mom, heck yeah.
Best of all? I enjoyed my family.
What's ahead? Off the top of my head:
Nurturing relationships with friends and family. They make everything worthwhile.
Make new friends. I love people. Don't judge lol.
More novels! My goal is to release three this year, so stay tuned.
Definitely more mountain biking once the snow and mud subside.
I need to plan some shenanigans for sure. I want to try reverse pick pocketing on my friends... where I leave something instead of take it. Stay tuned for that one.
And I want to paint the living room.
How about you? What are you proud of? What are you excited about? What would you like to see happen in 2023?
Lifting my mug in toast!
Til next time,
me
